Take back your attention. Come back to the real world.
Do you feel social media is taking away important time from you?
When you use Instagram do you feel emotions like joy, social bonding etc or emotions like envy, feeling left out, isolated etc?
Social Media wasn't always like this
If you are around my age you might remember the old days of social media when facebook and Orkut (yeah I am that old) were a fun way of connecting with people you knew from real life. It felt authentic and we used to log in to our social media accounts (there were no smartphones) to escape from the real world not the other way around as it is now.
TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat are not designed to let you escape into the real world. They are designed to keep you hooked like a drug addict. Your time is sold to advertisers and influencers (they are advertisers too) so that you buy more and more useless junk and services.
I quit social media two years ago
And it was the best decision of my life. Now I write more, read more, and actually connect with friends and family in real life. It turns out, sharing memes and reels over DMs is not friendship. You actually need to meetup with people or atleast call them time to time to really stay connected.
The Digital Reset
A one-month, one-on-one coaching program for people who feel that their phone and social media are taking too much of their attention.
This isn't about becoming a productivity robot.
And it's not about telling you that technology is evil. It's about helping you decide what role you actually want technology to play in your life.
Over the month, we'll work through:
Understand
Identify when, why and how you use social media and what you're getting from it.Remove
Decide which apps, habits and sources of digital noise you actually want to eliminate.Rebuild
Replace scrolling with activities that genuinely matter to you: reading, writing, exercise, hobbies, friendships, family and time outdoors.Experiment
Create a practical 30-day system for changing your relationship with your phone.Review
Look at what worked, what didn't, and what you want your digital life to look like going forward.
The goal isn't to use your phone perfectly.
The goal is to make your attention yours again.
If you feel that social media is taking more from your life than it's giving back, we can work through it together.
